Making Promat packaging more circular involves thinking creatively and taking extended producer responsibility further. We are reducing plastic and introducing recycled content into our packaging. And partnering with customers and suppliers to re-use and extend the life of our packaging. As a result we have achieved some important milestones, with large reductions in plastic at many sites.

Taking Clear Steps on plastic at our Dubai plant
Our Promat plant in Dubai makes fire protection sprays and was able to eliminate most plastic by changing from plastic bags to recycled paper bags, undergoing extensive operational and accelerated aging tests to ensure the new packaging is fit for purpose, contributing to our customers’ sustainability goals at the same time.
