We have brought our intumescent range to the next level, emphasising sustainability and innovation.

We have recently completed a major investment at our Italian plant into our production of intumescent material making it greener, safer, and more efficient. By bringing together lamination and extrusion processes, we have streamlined our operations and created opportunities for synergy between our technologies.

We implemented a more environmentally friendly process with a novel drying concept powered entirely by electricity. This move aligns with our goal of achieving carbon neutrality and allows us to save over 300 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. Embracing the Industry 4.0 concept, we aim to sustain our growth at Etex while reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring the safety of our team members.

The introduction of a new line helps us maintain our high standards and accelerate our operational excellence. This investment showcases our dedication to building a more sustainable portfolio and advancing the development of our intumescent range.
