MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)OVERSTITCHED

MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)OVERSTITCHED are custom-made, flexible microporous insulation panels, ideally suited for high temperature applications with complex 2D and 3D shapes and limited available space. These panels are produced in a glass cloth outer envelope, making them clean and easy to handle and install.

MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)OVERSTITCHED is available in two temperature grades (for 1000 °C and 1200 °C). The 1000 °C type is also available in a hydrophobic version that is ideal for applications where contact with liquid water or condensation (dew point) is possible.

Stitching is one-directional (2D flexure) for MICROTHERM® SEMI-OVERSTITCHED and two directional (3D flexure) for MICROTHERM® OVERSTITCHED. The formulation is an opacified blend of filament reinforced pyrogenic silica or alumina for the 1200 °C grade.
