Promat’s DALFRATHERM™ range of Ultra Low Shot insulation wools reduces energy loss and CO2 emissions to an absolute minimum and optimises the overall performance and lifetime of your application. 

DALFRATHERM™ wools are available in low bio persistence AES material, referred to as ULS. Also different grades of refractory ceramic (RCF) material is available.

DALFRATHERM™ wools are resistant to thermal shock and combine an excellent mechanical strength and thermal stability up to 1600 °C.

Variants of DALFRATHERM™

DALFRATHERM™-1200 ULS blanket

Low bio persistent high-temperature blanket with a classification temperature of 1200 °C. Recommended for use up to 1050 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™-1260 HYBRID blanket

The new standard for a classical RCF blanket with a classification temperature of 1260 °C. Recommended for use up to 1100 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™-1430 ZR blanket

Zirconia-based, high-temperature blanket with a classification temperature of 1430 °C. Recommended for continuous use up to 1300 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™-1200 ULS board

General purpose high-temperature board with at thickness up to 50 mm and classification temperature of 1200 °C. Recommended for continuous use up to 1050 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™-1260 HYBRID board

General purpose refractory board with a thickness up to 50 mm and classification temperature of 1260 °C.

DALFRATHERM™-1300 ULS board

General purpose high-temperature board with at thickness up to 50 mm and classification temperature of 1300 °C. Recommended for continuous use up to 1150 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™-1430 ZR board

Zirconia-based high-temperature board with a thickness up to 50 mm and classification temperature of 1430 °C. Recommended for continuous use up to 1300 °C in clean oxidising atmospheres.

DALFRATHERM™RCF Bulk fibres

DALFRATHERM®-1260 HYBRID bulk has a classification temperature of 1260 °C. DALFRATHERM®-1430 ZR bulk has a classification temperature of 1430 °C.

DALFRATHERM™-1260 ULS Bloc

High-temperature fibre system/module with a density of 160, 192 or 240 kg/m² and classification temperature of 1200 °C.

DALFRATHERM™-1430 ZR module

Zirconia-based high-temperature fibre system/module with a bulk density of 160 or 192 kg/m² and classification temperature of 1430 °C.

MICROTHERM® MPS

The reliable insulation for piping

MICROTHERM® MPS (Moulded Pipe Sections) are pre-shaped microporous insulation shells for industrial piping that can withstand peak temperatures of 1,000 °C. MICROTHERM® MPS shells and elbows are available in standard sizes or can be delivered tailor-made to customer specifications.


PROMALIGHT®

Thin and lightweight insulation

PROMALIGHT® microporous insulation boards and custom-made machined parts have an excellent thermal performance, ideally suited for high temperature applications with limited available space. PROMALIGHT® is available in various coverings (PE and aluminium foil, and mica).

PROMASIL®

Lightweight insulation for furnaces

PROMASIL® lightweight calcium silicate boards have excellent thermal and mechanical properties, making them ideally suited for high temperature applications, especially in all types of furnaces. PROMASIL® is available as boards, pipe sections, segments and cut sections, and is easy to machine and install.
