Insulation panels for the Steel industry

STEELFLEX® are flexible, thin and lightweight microporous insulation panels, designed for the iron and steel industry and other hot metal applications. These panels have exceptional thermal and mechanical properties and are available in three different temperature grades; 1000, 1100 and 1200 °C.

STEELFLEX® panels are made of an opacified blend of filament reinforced pyrogenic silica or alumina for the 1200 grade and can be delivered with various water-repellent coverings. An additional reinforcing layer of mica can be optionally applied to one side to increase the strength of the panel and enhance its handling and durability.
