MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)QUILTED

MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)QUILTED are flexible microporous insulation panels designed to customer specifications. These thin and lightweight panels have excellent thermal properties, making them ideal for applications with complex 2D and 3D shapes with severe space constraints.

MICROTHERM® (SEMI-)QUILTED is available in three different types with a classification temperature of 1000 °C or 1200 °C. Next to a standard version, the 1000 °C grade is also available in a hydrophobic version, ideal for applications where contact with liquid water or condensation is possible.

MICROTHERM® SEMI-QUILTED has one-directional stitching (2D flexure) and MICROTHERM® QUILTED two-directional stitching (3D flexure). The core is an opacified blend of filament reinforced pyrogenic silica or alumina for the 1200 grade, covered with in a glass cloth outer envelope.
