Fire Protection of Modular Housing in Asia

Promat Hong Kong office has jointly organized a CPD seminar with Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) for professional engineers on the topic of ‘Fire Protection of Modular Housing in Asia’ on Dec 13th, 2018.

Samson Ho and PK Leung are the major speakers and they have presented the system approach to provide fire protection to structural elements and compartmentation which have been widely adopted by the MiC (Modular Integrated Construction) industry including global hotel groups.

Promat also has the honor to bring in a guest speaker, CIMC Modular Building Systems Holding Co Ltd., to introduce their global experience in offsite inspection and on site integration for modular house construction.

The seminar has also got the support from Fire Services Department in providing a theatre hall at the Kowloon Tong Fire Station as the venue. The seminar has successfully attracted more than 60 professionals attending.
