CAFCO® SBR Bonding Latex

CAFCO® SBR Bonding Latex is a single pack, synthetic latex for use as a keycoat for fire protective coatings. It is spray applied after first mixing with Cafco FENDOLITE®-MII. CAFCO® SBR Bonding Latex forms part of the Cafco MANDOLITE® CP2 and Cafco FENDOLITE® MII passive fire protection systems, and is designed for application to primed steel or concrete substrates. After mixing with Cafco FENDOLITE®-MII, CAFCO® SBR Bonding Latex forms a tough, textured, strongly adhering mechanical keycoat. Once the mixture has cured, neat Cafco MANDOLITE® CP2 or Cafco FENDOLITE®-MII can be applied over it.
